PRODUCTS
KOMBUCHA:
Live. Raw. Probiotic.
Our fermented kombucha is made the real way. we use organic black and green tea, organic cane sugar, and filtered water for our first ferment. Our flavors and then handcrafted using fresh fruit and herbs for a second fermentation.
SOURDOUGH:
Fermented for 24 hours, our sourdough is organic and made with unbleached flour, sea salt, and filtered water. We offer our loaves at Root's Country Market every Tuesday and Green Dragon Farmer's Market every Friday.
KRAUT:
Our raw krauts are packed with healthy probiotics and we offer a variety of seasonal flavors. Check our market stands for current flavor offerings.
LIVE CULTURES:
Want to make your own kombucha or sourdough at home? Try one of our live organic SCOBY cultures or live organic sourdough starters. We also offer kits if you are looking for all of the supplies you need to get started.

ABOUT US
If you're lucky enough in life, you will find something you love to do and make a career out of it. I'll be honest, I hated store brand kombucha. It was sour, smelled bad, and had all kinds of added sugar and fruit juices. But I was drawn to the health benefits it often advertised. It seemed easy enough to make, and so my inner science nerd (and foodie) decided I would make my own version. A healthier, more delicious version.
Through this process, I found out that flavorful, gut-healthy, good bacteria filled kombucha is made mostly in small batches. I eventually mastered my own recipes using my own homebrew kombucha and fresh fruit and herbs.
But what will we call it? It had to be something meaningful. And here comes your history lesson kids...around the same time I started brewing kombucha, my family (the Miley's) had our first ever reunion. Everyone brought memorabilia, including pictures and items from the Miley Brother's Dairy which was originally owned and operated by my great-great grandfather, Frank Miley. So why not keep the tradition alive? Five generations ago, my family bottled and delivered milk. The bottles read "A bottle of milk is a bottle of health". Which is how I feel about kombucha! And so, Miley's Handcrafted was born.
